Biography
Scriptwriter and director. Born on 28 August
1972. Graduated in cinema studies from the
Film Institute VGIK (1997). Editor on
projects of the studio TriTe. In 2003,
together with Alexei Popogrebsky, he made
his first full-length feature film Koktebel,
which became a major event in the film
calendar (Silver Saint George, Moscow IFF;
Special Prize at the Karlovy Vary IFF;
Special Jury Prize of the Festival of
European Cinema in Brussels, etc.).
