Plot synopsis

In a small town during the alarm exercise Masha Stepanova and Alyosha Solovev met each other. Alyosha made a date but didn’t come as he fell badly ill. Masha, having found him in a hostel, started curing him. The cure of the sick grew into a real feeling. Alyosha also fell in love with Masha, but his carelessness parted them. They meet again during the war with White Guards in Finland.
