Biography
She was born on March 13, 1951 in Novosibirsk.
Graduated from the State Institute of Theater Arts named after A.V. Lunacharsky (1972).
In 1976-1993 she was an actress of the Lenkom Theatre.
Since 1993 she has been an actress of the theater "School of Modern Play".

In the early 1970s, she was actually married to the Bulgarian diplomat Boyko Gyurov. On May 24, 1974, their daughter Xenia was born. From 1976 to 1993, Irina was married to actor Alexander Abdulov.
Now Irina Alferova is the wife of actor Sergei Fedorovich Martynov, whom she met on the set of the film "Star of the Sheriff" in 1991. She raised three adopted children: two children of her husband and the son of her dead older sister.
