Plot synopsis
The 80s in Moscow. During the Moscow International Film Festival, KGB agents organise a provocation. Translator and KGB agent Valia Kachkina not only has to seduce film star Richard Dirk, but also take with her a ring of Ivan the Terrible, stolen from a Russian museum. The love of young officer Grouchnitski for Princess Mary Ligovskoï provokes the jealousy of Petchorine, another officer sent from the capital to the Caucasus as punishment for a duel.
