Kolian is an orphaned teenager looking for a better life and a new family. He falls into a world of young vagabonds who live in a rusty airplane located in a junkyard. The children work for their family: the "father", Alik, is a former aviator with amputated legs and the "mother", Mara is a former nurse. Everything is almost normal but only almost... Our hero here meets the first affection, the first love and the first disappointments. He must face the death of the "father", the "betrayal" of the fiancée. He is chased away and could have perished if a new family had not miraculously presented itself. Indeed Kolian is welcomed by a troupe of traveling circus Liliputians. And our astonishing hero finds his vocation in the work of "Lovitor", an acrobat who carries on his shoulders a pyramid of little artists...
