The film tells the story of an ordinary working day for Rzaev, a serious and respected scientist in a responsible position. His day begins with a visit from the wife of one of his colleagues who comes to complain that her husband is cheating on her and demands sanctions. Then comes a series of boring meetings, useless appointments that take place at a hellish pace. After this exhausting day of work, Rzaev goes home, but stops on the floor below where a sweet woman who loves him and is so understanding is waiting for him...
