The film tells the dramatic events experienced by the war pilots of the NITKA airport in Sakakh (Ukraine) at the time of the collapse of the USSR. The pilots had to swear that if the interests of Ukraine required it, they were ready to attack Russia, while their families included both Russians and Ukrainians.
