Catherine was in a desperate situation and did not know what to do. She suddenly had the idea to write a small ad that read: "I am dying of boredom. Help me! At exactly 12 o'clock under the clock." Three people answered her call: Rita the hairdresser, the "major" Pasha, and the boxer Sacha. All three, like Catherine herself, had the same need for adventure, the same dreams and the same rejection of the surrounding greyness and the advice of older people.
