Plot synopsis
Based on a novel of the same name by I. Novokshenov. The episodes of Mongol national liberation movement are the plot of the film. It shows the life of a young hunter Amolgolan, who possesses an amulet with an ancient manuscript certifying that he is a Chingiz-Khan descendant. The British occupants decide to make profit of him, having turned Amogolan into a handy kinglet. However the young man rebelled against the occupants and raised all the people.
