1918. In a small village where the Whites can arrive at any moment, Red Army soldier Fyodor Krokhov appears with full powers to requisition agricultural products. He must convince the peasants to save the state from the shortage of wheat. But as the kulak Mokei Khlobin suggests, they are hiding the wheat. Fyodor will be able to find what is hidden and with the help of the local soviet he will be able to open the peasants to revolutionary ideals.
