Biography
Renowned director and animator Irina Evteeva was born in St Petersburg and graduated from the film department of The Theatre, Music and Film Institute in 1980. In 1989 she got her PhD in history of the arts. She is a senior researcher at Russia’s Institute of the History of the Arts and a professor at the State Film and TV Institute. She is a film director at Lenfilm Studios. Her films have been awarded prizes at multiple international film festivals.
