From 1975 to 1978 he attended classes at a children's studio at the Palace of Pioneers in Sverdlovsk, from 1980 to 1984 he studied at the Art School No. 1 in Sverdlovsk. In 1988 graduated from the department of theater scenery of the Sverdlovsk Institute of Fine Arts, in 1995 from the faculty of applied arts of VGIK (Moscow State Institute of Cinema) in the class of F. Khitruk, E. Nazarov, Yuri Norstein. In 1988-1989 worked at the Sverdlovsk film studio, in 1995-96 at the Moscow studio "Pilot". Since 1997 lives and works in France. Made scenery for films by Aldashin, Bubnov, Cherenkov. In 1999-2000 selected for "Artists' Residence" (Folimage, Valence, France). Works in cartoon animation.
