The second film in a dilogy, the first of which is "Behind the Clouds, There is the Sky" (1973).
The young engineer Dmitry Zherekhov, newly hired at the naval aviation plant, tries to convince the director to implement new methods of organizing production. He is supported by the experienced engineer Aleksey Sedykh and the test engineer Lyudmila Rudneva. Dmitry pleases Lyudmila, but his coldness and rationalism hinder their relationship.
