During his vacation near the northern city of Solovets, Leningrad programmer Alexander Privalov hitchhikes two employees of a local institute. They arrange for him to spend the night in the institute's museum on Lukomorye Street, where he is met by the museum's caretaker Naina Kievna Gorynych. At first, Privalov takes everything for granted, but gradually he realizes that unusual events are constantly happening in the museum and in the city...
