The opening film, the famous fairy tale The Little Humpbacked Horse (Конек - горбунок) by Aleksandr ROU, is the first Soviet fairy tale film in color. Its restoration was a difficult task carried out by Gosfilmofond, respecting the original structure of the two negatives, each with different colors.

It is therefore not surprising that cinema, from its very beginnings, has illustrated and sometimes amplified this interaction between social life and architecture.

Among the fiction films, several have become cult classics, including The Planet of Storms, 1961, by Pavel KLOUCHANTSEV, which more than forty years later inspired several American films, and the silent film Cosmic Flight, 1935, by Vassili JOURAVLIOV, a pioneering film that became popular in the 1960s, notably for illustrating the problems of weightlessness encountered by cosmonauts
