A film about the chance encounter of a man and a woman from different worlds. Sergei, a young correspondent for the local newspaper, finds himself in a remote village, far from everything, where he meets a strange woman, a hermit, who is of great interest to his article. Apparently, Sergei is the first man she has ever known. He is unaware that his own life is about to change, nor of the tragic fate that awaits him in this old hut.
