Biographical story of Ekaterina Brechko-Brechkovkaïa, revolutionary activist (1844-1934). For her political activity she was imprisoned and sent to camps under the tsarist regime from 1874 to 1896, then she took part in the revolution of 1905 and was imprisoned again from 1905 to 1907. She took part in the revolutions of 1917 in the ranks of the SR ( revolutionary socialists). She emigrated in 1919.
