Plot synopsis
Young Boulat is disabled and an orphan. He must go to America to be operated on with the hope of a cure. A family awaits him. But to the great American dream, the child prefers another dream: the one where his mother appears, whom he has never seen. He is convinced that she exists and that she is waiting for him in the legendary "Kouktaou". And he dreams of what he has never known: the affection of a loved one. Can faraway America really become a second country for a Tatar child?
