The escape of a Georgian revolutionary from a Tsarist prison (the 1910s).
In order to settle matters of inheritance, complicated by a quarrel with his brother, Prince David sends his son Tengiz to the city. Tengiz had spent the money intended for the solicitor and sold his documents to the fugitive revolutionary Spiridon Lomidze. Lomidze is arrested again, and the police, armed with his documents, set off for Tengiz’s village. There, everything is cleared up. Spiridon is released from prison and leaves the country.
