Faced with insoluble problems, five young Muscovites flee to a monastery located not far from the half-abandoned village of Topi. They take this trip as an adventure, an opportunity to free themselves from their worries and forget everything. However, the journey turns into a series of mysterious events that bring them back to what they were fleeing and makes them doubt the reality of what is happening.
