On the birthday of Dr. Lavrov, the patients of a sanatorium organize a surprise for him. They prepare a concert and invite several famous actors and singers. But at first none of the guests agree to work on that particular day. Disappointed, the organizers return to the sanatorium and there they meet all the actors and singers. It was a misunderstanding, because during the negotiations none of the parties mentioned the name of the doctor.
