Born on June 16, 1987, in Moscow, into a family of an actress and a jazz musician.
She dreamed of the stage from childhood; however, her parents and grandparents envisioned a career as a translator for her and enrolled her in a linguistic gymnasium, where she balanced her studies with work at a modeling agency.
Yet, even after graduating from the gymnasium, Anna decided to apply to drama school. Her parents realized that this "malady" was incurable and relented.
In 2009, she graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School (K.A. Raikin’s class).
She made her debut in the play *Amadeus* at the Moscow Art Theatre.
In 2009, she joined the company of the Moscow Theatre under the direction of O. Tabakov.
