In 1975 he graduated from LGITMiK (course of Z. Korogodsky and L. Dodin) and was accepted into the troupe of the St. Petersburg Youth Theater named after A.A. Bryantsev.
In 1984 he graduated from the Leningrad State Pedagogical Institute. A.I. Herzen.
