Yana Rubanovskaya was born on 04.04.1982 in the north of Yakutia. She graduated from the Russian State Humanitarian University, Faculty of Journalism. She devoted several years to working as a screenwriter on documentary television projects for federal broadcasts (Channel One, Russia, Kultura, TVC). Work as a scriptwriter and director on the documentary cycles "Heroes of the New Russia", "Theory of Improbability", "Tomorrow Will Never Die" and others. Over the years, she became a finalist and winner of various awards.
