"Graphomania" is a new comedy of Russian film production, the action of which is centered on an intelligent and beautiful woman Nadezhda Pavlovna. Thanks to her character and determination in life, she achieves a lot. Many years ago, she opened her own book production agency, which gradually grew into a very successful literary publishing house. Currently, her book publishing company is quite solid and brings in a lot of money, so Nadezhda Pavlovna does not worry at all. The only problem in her life is her own son, who does not want to listen to reason in any way. It is high time, at his age, to worry about his life independently, to have some occupation and to build his future in one way or another. But all this does not interest the young man at all. Moreover, he does not like literature at all and behaves carelessly towards his mother's activity. The young man does not want to study or work. He can't find his own way in life, but he doesn't want to continue the family business either. He wants to drive fancy cars, have fun in expensive restaurants and clubs, spend a fortune on alcohol and easy girls. Nadezhda Pavlovna is seriously worried about her son's future. She tries to devote as much energy as possible to put the young man on the right path. To achieve this goal, she is ready to do anything, she is not even afraid to break the law. Nadezhda Pavlovna comes up with a whole plan to successfully build her son's life. The first step of her plan is to publish a new bestseller, which her son supposedly wrote. Of course, he did not write this work, because he does not have the necessary talent. But Nadezhda Pavlovna is not at all troubled by this circumstance. She knows a lot about contemporary literature, so she knows perfectly well what sells and how. In contemporary prose, one can find a lot of plagiarism, and what is more, some works are sometimes written by so-called "literary slaves". Nadezhda Pavlovna has a book in mind. Its author is a very famous person, but the work in question has not yet been published. The author refuses to sell his book. That is why the main character decides to take a different path. She hires a few unlucky writers, who are among the graphomaniacs, who will have to kill the famous writer and take possession of his manuscript. She plans to publish this work under the name of her dear son, that is why she is ready to do anything to achieve her goal.
