Finland today. Following an anonymous tip-off, social services take a child away from his parents, a promising young politician and his Russian wife. The mother is brutally accused of mistreatment. The events unfold against the backdrop of an election campaign in which the father is participating as a party leader. He is forced to make a difficult choice between saving his family or his political career. The state machine gives the mother no chance of getting her son back legally. The couple must therefore go through tough times and perform a series of acts in the name of family, in the name of love, in the name of their son.
