Plot synopsis
The film covers the period between October 1941 and January 1942, giving an outlook on the mission for the defence of Moscow. It features shots of the preparations for the mission, the operations of the antiaircraft troops in Moscow, fighting on the fringes of Moscow, Tula and Stalinogorsk, war-damaged villages, as well victims among civilians and Soviet and German POWs. Oscar award for Best Documentary.
