The film tells the story of the hard life of the homeless. But it does not paint a dark picture or sink into pessimism because, taking as an example the life of the main character, Alexei Orlov, a former prisoner and then a former homeless person who now works in the Moscow social service, it shows that one can get out of any situation, with the help, of course, of those around oneself.
