XVIIth century. Georgia divided into small principalities is the object of the lust of Turkey and Iran, the Ottoman regiments trample the Georgian earth. The glorious warrior Gueorgui Saakadze takes the lead of a People's Army and after having attracted the Turks to a mountain throat, decides the outcome of the Battle of Suram. Taking advantage of the good dispositions towards him of the Tsar Laoursab II, Saakadze undertakes to build fortresses at the borders of the state. However, Tsar's marriage to Tekle, Saakadze's sister, arouses hatred of princes. Chadiman's Droujinniks (Guards) attack Saakadze Château and force him to flee with his family in Persia. The Shah Abbas entrusts the command of the Persian army to Saakadze. After a series of SAAKADZE victorious campaigns, on the orders of the Shah, enters Georgia and has the help of the foreigners of Soumette the rebellious feudal lords and to create a Georgian state united under the authority of the Tsar Laoursab II. But having underestimated the deception and the cruelty of the Shah as well as the strength of the feudal lords against him, the Grand Moouravi is defeated.
