Born in 1990 in Nalchik. Graduated from the Faculty of Audiovisual and Theatrical Arts at Krasnodar State University of Culture and Arts with a degree in Cinematography, and from the Moscow School of New Cinema in Dmitri Mamoulian's directing class. She worked at the Kabardino-Balkaria puppet theatre and as a television cameraman. "In the Mountains. She" is her first feature film.
