Plot synopsis
The waiter Antosha is in love with the restaurant owner's daughter, Nina. The day the restaurant owner is about to fire him because of his bad service, he learns that Antosha will inherit a very large sum of money, 100 thousand rubles. So he decides to scam Antosha and make her sign a contract, according to which, if Antosha leaves the service, he will have to pay 30 thousand rubles to the owner. Drunk, Antosha signs the contract.
The beautiful life of a rich man begins for Antosha. But he refuses to leave his job as a waiter so as not to pay the compensation to the owner of the restaurant. The latter tries to create difficulties for Antosha to make him break the contract, but the waiter is saved by Nina, who no longer hides her love for him.
