sergey uvarov was born in 1987. in 2011 graduated from the moscow conservatoire, in 2014 completed his post-graduate studies there and defended his doctoral thesis “music in alexander sokurov’s directorial works”. teaches his own course “music in cinema and visual arts” in the moscow conservatoire. was a music and sound design advisor on rustam khamdamov’s movie “bottomless sack” (2017). author of the first documentary feature of the moscow conservatoire “symphony of the organ” (2019). wrote the books “alexander sokurov’s music world”, “intonation. alexander sokurov”, “the voice of the millennium generation”. his filmography also includes “minuet” (2020, short) and “studio” (2020, doc).
