Born in Moscow. She received her first education at the Faculty of Psychology
of Lomonosov Moscow State University, where she studied hypnosis and
rewriting of autobiographical memory. Completed an internship, working
with victims of emergency situations, people who suffered a long coma and
their relatives. Then she studied directing at the Moscow Film School
(workshop of A. Popogrebsky), studied dramaturgy at the New York Film
Academy (NYFA) and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). The
series written by Elina were nominated several times for TEFI; short films
have become participants in a number of Russian and international festivals
and received awards for best director at the Sunlight International Film
festival and FFTG Awards.
