Was born in 1974 in Karelia. Artist and designer by education, he is engaged in contemporary art and illustration, and is an active participant of art exhibitions in Russia and abroad. He studied at the School of Documentary Film and Theater of Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov. His first documentary film "The Twin" (2015) became the nominee of the National Prize in the field of non-fiction films and television "Laurel Branch" in the "Best Debut" category. " The Private Life of Animals" is the second director's work and his graduation project.
