Plot synopsis

Mark, a successful St Petersburg restaurateur, lives life to the full: business meetings, food tastings, lively parties, cheerful friends and beautiful girlfriends, each with their own stories of infatuation, romances and infidelities. But one day, Mark will have to make a choice: a world of fleeting desires and thrills, or a feeling that comes only once and stays forever.

I’ve been working on this story for nearly ten years. Some of my friends – brilliant directors – asked me to hand it over to them, but I realised they weren’t the right fit for this material. So I decided to film it myself. And I found a co-writer. In a place I never expected – my own workshop.
