Plot synopsis

In the south-west of the Republic of Buryatia, in the Eastern Sayan Mountains, lies an ulus with the intriguing name of Myla. Life here is a constant struggle. Starting with the simple task of heating one’s home, this struggle continues in every aspect of life in this small Hamnigan ulus.
How do Darkhan’s creative pursuits and inquisitive mind, combined with his golden hands, help the entire ulus to survive in the harsh conditions of Zakamna? What philosophy enables Dondok Dorzhievich to reconcile the irreconcilable – when Darkhan, a shaman, crafts Buddhist artefacts?
