The story of Alina Chistyakova, founder of a brand of pearl headdresses and necklaces crafted using the ancient technique of *sazhenie po beli* (sewing pearls onto a linen base).
Alina travels to the village where she spent her childhood to show her pearl necklaces to the locals—tractor drivers resting after a day’s work and women gathered by the mobile shop. After all, their great-grandmothers used to craft such necklaces, and not so long ago, their grandmothers wore these very headdresses at their weddings...
