Luntik enjoys life with his mum on the Moon and regularly flies down to Earth to visit his friends. One day, Luntik wonders where his dad is. His mum explains that Luntik’s dad disappeared on the far side of the Moon, but that he’ll definitely come back one day. Luntik doesn’t want to wait, so together with his friend, the grasshopper Kuzey, he sets off in search of his dad. They are followed by the mischievous caterpillars — Vupsen and Pupsen — who throw a spanner in the works of every plan. The pair end up on the far side of the Moon, where incredible and dangerous adventures await them.
