A group of girls sets off for an island lost in the ocean to learn kitesurfing. They dream of flying over the water like their instructors, a bunch of strange, rough-and-ready lads obsessed with the waves and the wind. The lads aren’t too keen on having to teach anyone, but they need the money for a trip to Cape Verde. So what is real kitesurfing – the joy of flight or pain and humiliation? And what is the freedom of the islanders – embracing their own path or fleeing from the wider world?
