The protagonist, a military doctor who served in the special military operation and was the sole survivor of his entire unit following combat on the front line, travels to the village on the shores of the Caspian Sea to pay his respects to the family of a fellow soldier who was killed in action.
Having suffered severe post-traumatic stress disorder following an explosion, he is struggling to recover and does not know how to go on living. In his pain and loss, he finds support in the widow of the major who died heroically, who has also lost her purpose in life. Love unexpectedly blossoms between them, thanks to which the protagonist comes back to life. Now he is once again ready to return to duty in the special military operation zone to fulfil his duty to his country.
