Albert and Eldar are members of a music label dedicated to preserving folk music. They are assigned to a mountain village to record the last living bearer of an ancient Kabardian song. In the village, they are informed that the old man has gone into the mountains to die. This news marks the beginning of a journey—both external, through difficult terrain, and internal: a journey of overcoming, a meeting with tradition, silence, and oneself.
