Plot synopsis

An old notebook reveals the secret of a famous writer: the story of a boy unable to walk and his friend who invented an entire world for him, a life-saving tale about a mermaid and dangerous games with mythical creatures. This friendship became a shield against cruelty and a remedy against despair. And it is only at the end that we understand what truth was hidden behind this imaginary tale.
