Plot synopsis
In the middle of the last century, the name of the radio programme ‘Maiak’ ‘Finding a Person’ was known to everyone who was searching for relatives lost during the war. It could be said that the whole country knew about it. Because everyone listened to it and was moved. Indeed, it was about lost children without papers. Some were so young that they could not even remember their names. It seemed that there was no hope of finding their families. But the children's poet Agniia Lvovna Barto achieved the almost impossible. She created a special radio programme and began searching. She did not believe she would succeed, but she hoped to do so. Thanks to Agniia Barto and her programme, almost a thousand families were reunited. The film ‘Agniai Barti. Finding a Person’ tells the moving stories of children who found their families and also the story of children's poet Agniia Lvovna Barto, who was able to reunite members of the same family, giving them a real gift.
