In 1969, he entered the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute.
From 1973-77, he worked at the Stanislavsky Russian Drama Theater in Yerevan.
From 1977-89, he worked at the Sundukyan Yerevan Drama Theater.
From 1988 to 1992, he studied at the Yerevan Theater Institute.
In 1989, he founded an acting studio.
From 1991 to 1994, he was director and artistic director of the Metro Theater.
From 1994 to 2003, he worked in Lebanon.
In 2003, he returned to the Metro Theater.
Since 2007, he has been an actor and director at various theaters in Yerevan.
