In a remote village, garbage collector Gio tries by any means possible to save his sick mother. A local healer sends him in search of a healing spring on a night when, according to legend, pagan spirits emerge from the other world.
"I conceived the film as a free interpretation of a Georgian folk tale, but gradually the mythical legend transformed into a story about a son and mother. In it, I tried to convey the personal experiences of realizing the inevitability of the imminent loss of a loved one."
