Dima and Katya spend a summer day together outside the city: swimming in a pond, sunbathing, making love, and sharing dreams from the night before. They are young, carefree, and in love, but beneath the mask of joy lies a quiet sadness. The day will soon end, and they will have to part, and neither of them knows how long this separation will last.
This film is about summer, about that short time when love seems eternal, and the world seems simple and clear. The characters spend a day together, full of light, physical intimacy, and frank conversations. But behind the warmth and joy lies a farewell. I wanted to convey the fragility of such moments, when everything is just beginning, but you already sense the inevitability of its imminent end.
