Maria Kuznetsova came to the Pushkin State Academic Russian Theater in 1975, immediately after graduating from the acting department of the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography. N.K. Cherkasov (class of Professor Igor Olegovich Gorbachev).
During her thirty years of work on the stage of the oldest Russian drama theater, Maria Vladimirovna Kuznetsova played about 70 roles.
