A typical palace of culture at the aircraft plant was built in the late 30s of the last century, but it acquired fame and cult status only 50 years later, when two Komsomol members - Igor Tonkikh and Alexander Larin - organized a club of philophonists at the Palace of Culture. Gradually, a small organization of music lovers turned into the world's largest pirate market, the DK stage opened its doors to the best Russian and Western rock bands, and Gorbushka itself became not just a place for a global party and a giant marketplace, but a real window to the world.
