Plot synopsis
Since 1980 Vasily Aksyonov lived in the United States (where he taught at universities and worked as a radio journalist), in the last years of his life - in France. In addition to prose and drama in Russian, he wrote scripts for feature films, was a co-author of the group adventure novel "Gene Green - the Untouchable", published one book in English ("The Yolk of an Egg", 1989) and translated from this language.
