Plot synopsis

The sinister "dance of death" that Stalin and Beria staged in the late forties - early fifties, in the film, remains behind the scenes. But from there, the round glasses of the country's main KGB agent constantly flash, then his mustache and pipe appear. Everything is correct - the puppeteers must remain in the shadows, the "invisible battle" of the two authorities - the apparatus and the State Security Service, throwing one sixth of the globe into a bloody sweat, must be hidden. But it's a shame that only once does the personification of the third force - the military - appear from behind the scenes. Marshal Zhukov, who served as the stone that caused the avalanche that eventually crushed Stalin's model of world governance, appears in the film only once. And in a completely inverted version. Allegedly, it was Zhukov who once suggested to Beria to form a conspiracy! Such assumptions, even on behalf of some memoirists, should not be mentioned: the military and the State Security Service and their leaders - Zhukov and Beria - were then in irreconcilable confrontation. Some had not yet forgotten the machine guns of the barrier detachments and the grins of the special officers, others considered their opponents a gray crowd, fit only for drinking vodka and causing trouble.
